Gary was promoted to the role of Chief People Officer in 2024 following four years as HR Director. Gary takes responsibility for our People here at Buzz, he has worked in several Senior HR roles within the business over the last thirteen years and been integral in the development of our company values and culture. Buzz is a business that will always put people first, Gary’s role is to champion our remarkable people in the board room.

Gary is an experienced HR professional with an extensive background across the gambling, casino, and retail sectors including food, DIY and wholesale. He has worked in the HR teams for brands including WH Smith’s Do It All, Focus DIY, Boots the Chemist, Gala Casino and Booker Wholesale.

Earlier in his career, Gary also held senior Operational roles in the retail sector before moving into HR over 20 years ago, valuable experience still drawn upon today.
